Professor Edith Garcia received her BFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, MFA from the California College of the Arts and MPhil at the Royal College of Art in London.

Garcia was awarded the Viola Frey Distinguished Visiting Professorship at the California College of the Arts and is currently a Professor at the California College of the Arts and University of California, Berkeley. Has authored major publications and is an ongoing contributor to visual and design online and print publications.
